Yobe State governor and the Chairman of the National Caretaker Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress Mai Mala Buni has been vaccinated alongside his deputy, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana and other top government officials of the state.
A statement released Sunday by the director general of press and media to the governor, Mamman Mohammed, said the exercise marked the official launch of the vaccination in Yobe state.
Speaking after his vaccination Governor Buni used the opportunity to call on the people of the state to go for the vaccination and observe the Covid-19 protocols at all time.
The said that the vaccine was administered on the governor by his personal physician Dr. Mohammed Salim Umar, assisted by the state commissioner for Health Dr Mohammed Gana.
