
Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, has tasked the United Bank for Africa UBA to redeem corporate social responsibility projects and Programmes.
According to him, the implementation of corporate social responsibility could restore the lost means of livelihoods of the people.
Buni gave the task while receiving UBA’s Deputy Managing Director, Liadi Ayoku at the Government House, Damaturu.
Buni, who was represented by the Commissioner for Finance, Musa Mustapha, assured Ayoku that the state government will continue to conduct transparent business with all partners in banking and industrial sectors of the economy.
While commending Mustapha’s commitments to develop the state, Ayoku said their organisation is determined to have a fruitful business partnership with the state government.
He assured that the bank will develop and continue to improve on the corporate social responsibility as demanded by the Governor.
