United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) has donated motorbike ambulance to Adamawa state Government.
While presenting the ambulances at the Specialist Hospital Jimeta-Yola, the County Representative of United Nations Fund for Population Activities in Nigeria Ms Ulla Elizabeth Mueller said the ambulances would be used in rural areas particularly for women to have safe delivery.
Adamawa state government for the attention given to health care delivery, explained that more of such motorbike ambulances will be delivered to the state government to strengthen health care delivery in the state.

Receiving keys of the Motorbike ambulances, Adamawa state Commissioner for Health Prof Abdullahi Isa thanked the UNFPA and its Country Representative Ulla Elizabeth Mueller for the donation, assured that government will ensure full maintenance of the ambulances for them to stand the test of time.
On behalf of Adamawa state government and the people of Mubi north and south thanked the UNFPA and its Country Representative Ulla E Mueller from Switzerland for having to donate three wonderful and fantastic ambulances that will help save mothers and sisters when they are in dire need in the rural areas.
