
Troops of 101 Special Forces Battalion of Nigerian Army deployed in Taraba state in the northeast while on patrol raided suspected criminal hideouts at Dogo Ruwa following a tip-off.
Two notorious armed bandits were nabbed during the raid.
Items recovered from the hideout include One G3 rifle containing 7 rounds of 7.62mm NATO, one Pump Action rifle and one dane gun.
A preliminary investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be handed over to the appropriate authority for prosecution on completion.
A statement by Brigadier General TEXAS CHUKWU Director Army Public Relations appealed to the public to cooperate with the security agencies by reporting any suspicious movements.
