Taraba Will Benefit From Airborne Geographical Survey Activity

Taraba State is among the Nineteen States that would benefit from Airborne Geographical Survey Activity to determine accurate mineral locations
The Team Leader World Bank Assisted Program under the Ministry of Mines and Steels, Also Abdullahi made this known during an Interface with Dandal Kura Radio International Correspondents in Jalingo the state capital.

He said Local Government that would be covered in the State are Karim Lamido, Gassol, Wukari, Ibi, Donga, Takum, Kurmi and Ussa while States to be covered include Kwara,Ekiti,Ondo,Osun, Oyo,Ogun and Ebonyi.

Others are Enugu,Cross River,Akwa Ibom,Kaduna,Niger,Kogi,Benue,Plateau, Nassarawa,Bauchi and the Federal Capital Territory.

Team leader revealed that the survey will be measuring minor variations On Earth magnetic fields and radiations in the Soil.

Also,expressed confidence on the current survey to return more details and information on the geology and mineral potentials of the Country due to improvement in technology and advancement in knowledge.

He called on people of various local government to be covered by the survey not to panic as a result of the loud noise of the air craft to be used with low flying altitude to be maintained by the aircraft or the pattern of movement of the air craft.
