The Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the Taraba State University Ambassador Idris Waziri says Government intention is to make the citadel of learning as model for other universities.
The Chairman stated this while speaking to Dandal Kura International Correspondent in Jalingo.
He described education as the best legacy that can be bequeath to any one stating that efforts would be made to ensure that TSU produced quality graduates that can match any of their peers.
Ambassador Idris Waziri saluted Governor Darius Ishaku for raising the bar through concerted efforts to improve academic activities of the Taraba State University.
In a Separate interview, Vice Chancellor of the Taraba State University Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe said management of the Taraba State University is doing all it can to improve security in TSU.
He condemned recent kidnap of Dean of Students Umar Buba of the Institution stating that there was no negotiation between the kidnappers and the University authority before his release.
Professor Vincent Tenebe advised students and Staff of the University not to panic but to go about doing their activities but must be vigilant.
