The Governor of Sokoto State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Saturday visited Maiduguri, Borno State.
The Aspirant and his presidential campaign team while soliciting support of stakeholders and delegates of the PDP in Borno and Yobe State said they were in Borno for advocacy Visit to garner support for tambuwal’s presidential ambitions.
Aminu Tambuwal who was represented by the Director General Tambuwal campaign Organisation, Senator Tunde Ogbeha said the presidential aspirant had wanted to Visit Borno to meet the delegates himself, but could not make it because of the hostilities ongoing in sokoto state.
Ogbeha further told the delegates that security will be his first and foremost priority of his administration if elected. Adding by ensuring to address all humanitarian Challenges confronting the North-east sub-region and Nigeria at large.
On his Part, the Borno state PDP chairman, Zanna Gaddama while welcoming the delegates assured them Borno delegates are for Tambuwal. Stressing by ensuring the Tambuwal’s presidential campaign support in the states.
