His royal highness the Shehu of Borno Dr. Alh Abubakar Umar Garbai Al-amin El-kanemi called people of Borno state to take covid-19 vaccines.
The Royal father made the call during an interview with our reporter Babagana Bukar wakil Ngala at Shehu’s palace Maiduguri on Monday.
Shehu says the vaccines is a welcome development. Adding that government has introduced it simply because it is good and government will not introduce anything bad.
On embarking in continuous sensitization exercise the Shehu assured that the emirate council are waiting for directives from the state governor to trip all the 16 local government areas under the Borno emirate Council.
The Shehu also stated that many diseases happened in Borno such as polio, gonorrhea, chicken pox among others but because of vaccines they were eradicated.
He says the vaccines is a welcome development. Adding that Covid – 19 is a dangerous killer disease.
He further stated that they are 59 district heads 559 village heads and over 7000 village heads are waiting to receive their vaccines.
The Shehu thanks Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and President Muhammadu Buhari for their support to the people of Borno state.
