Senate President Condoles Emir Of Bade, Family Over The Death Of Late Goni Aisami Gashua

The Senate president, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan was in Gashua to condoled with the family, the people of Bade local government and the state over the death of Islamic cleric sheik Goni Aisami who died recently.

The Senate president describe the circumstances surrounding the death of the Islamic scholar as sad, regrettable and most unfortunate incident.

Senator Ahmed Lawan said he is deeply saddened by the sad news of the death of Sheik Goni Aisami.

He assured that, the alleged circumstances surrounding the death is unfortunate and will be investigated thoroughly, adding that any one found wanting, will face the full wrath of the law.

According to him government is doing everything possible to ensure crime is reduced to its barest minimum in the country and criminals are punished accordingly.

Senator Ahmed Lawan therefore urged security personnel to scrutinized people of sound character while recruiting to protect lives and properties of the people of the country.

He therefore assured the readiness of the national assembly in ensuring improvement in the security situation of the country.
