Over 6000 Farmers along Maiduguri-Damboa Road accessed their farms daily, as a results of the Joint efforts of the state Government, Military CJTF, Vigilantes and Hunters.
The Commissioner for youths and sport development Borno state Saina Buba led the state Government committee in the reopening of the road leading to the farm lands.
The committee was seen on regular basis supervising and Monitoring the screening of the farmers and Motorist following the road.
This effort is in fulfilment of Gov Babagana Umara Zulum’s promise to open up roads and farms to people in other to have means of livelihood.
The farmers were full of joy and praises to the Governor’s efforts and prayed for a bumper harvest this year.
