SECURITY: No More Kidnappers , Rapist,Robbers and other Criminals in Mubi South__Rufai Confirms

The chairman of Mubi South Local government area of Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria Jingi Rufai said his administration has succeeded in restoring peace and stability in the area since he assume office.
Jingi said this during an interactive session with Dandal Kura Radio International Correspondent base in Adamawa State Yagana Ali.
The Chairman said the security the security issue is responsibility of all sons and daughters of Mubi local government area. He reiterated call on all stakeholders to bring a lasting solution to problem of kidnapping, robbery, raping and other criminal activities in the areas.
Jingi Rufai stressed that with the coming of the present administration the rate of criminal activity is reduced to the barest minimal. Adding that Mubi South is one of the ten local Government areas of Adamawa state that is sharing boundary with republic of Cameroon.
He explains that due to the mountainous nature of the area where criminal elements sneaks from one country to another whenever they commit atrocity in border towns.
He recalled that few months ago civil servants doesn’t stay at their offices at the council secretariat up to 2pm, traders were being harassed, students are not attending classes even prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, people doesn’t sleep at their homes in the Mubi South due to persistent kidnapping among others.
According to one of the victim of kidnapping in area who told our correspondent that some of the residents sold-out their Houses and relocate to Mubi town. However, since the assumption of Jingi into office of the council chairman most of them are now sleeping with their eyes closed.
He said Allah sees our hearts on this issue and help us to find a lasting solution with the cooperation of our local vigilantes and security agent in areas.
