ROFOH, Borno Govt Partners On Health, Environment

A humanitarian organization, Professionals for Humanity PROFOH is to partner with Borno State Government to address challenges in healthcare service delivery and environmental issues affecting Borno.

This was the outcome of a meeting held between officials of PROFOH and Governor Babagana Umara Zulum at the Borno State Liaison Office in Abuja.

Humanitarian organization, Professionals for Humanity was established in 1998 to address problems in healthcare services, education, environment and safe water operations in the United States, Germany, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.

Speaking during the meeting, Governor Zulum said Borno has been faced with crisis for over ten years which has severely affected the environment and infrastructures in housing, health and education sectors among others.

Zulum also noted that although the state has been doing well in waste management with Ministry of Environment and Borno Plastic Company, it’s still open to tap into the expertise of humanitarian organization, Professionals for Humanity.
