President Donald Trump has been taken to Walter Reed Army Medical Centre after showing some symptoms of the novel coronavirus disease.

Trump and his wife, Melania, tested positive to COVID-19 after a White House aide close to the president also contracted the virus.

Sources said the president is presently being treated with regeneron anti-body cocktail.

The White House has also ruled out the possibility of transferring power to Vice President Mike Pence while the president receives treatment at the military facility.
