President Muhammadu Buhari said that sustainable development is impossible when country is hobbled by severe infrastructural deficits.
This was contained in a statement issued by special advisor to the president on media Femi Adesina.
The President disclose this on Tuesday at State House Abuja, while receiving in audience Wang Yi the State Councillor and Foreign Minister, Peoples Republic of China.
Buhari thank China for its support to the country in various ways; in building of rail, road, power, defence, and others.
Wang Yi said that China wants to begin the years diplomatic work from Africa, and Nigeria was chosen as the first port of call in 2021.
Mr Yi said his country will encourage Chinese companies to increase their investments in Nigeria, while China will also readily share experience and techniques in areas like digital economy, defence, and others.
