
Troops of 22 Brigade of the Nigerian Army deployed in Operation Lafiya Dole have recently reunited children abducted two years ago by Boko Haram terrorists with their parents at Ngafure Village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State. The troops rescued the two boys and two girls during a clearance operation at Maima Village in Ngala Local Government Area of the state.
A statement signed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, said the children were receiving medical attention at military health facilities.
He reiterated commitment to rescue all hostages still held by Boko Haram.
