Nigerian Army Relocates Residents of Jakana Back To Their Town

Nigerian Army has relocated residents of Jakana Village, Konduga town, Borno state, North-East Nigeria back to their Community after spending three days in Bakassi IDPs camp of Maiduguri.

It would be recalled that Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole have relocated residents of Jakana to Bakassi IDPs Camp in Maiduguri for conducting clearance operation in the axis and to save the lives of the residents pending the completion of the operation.

Monitoring the relocation exercise Chief of Staff, 7 Division Nigeria Army Brigadier General Sunday Ikinom Wanhia enjoined the people to support the Military especially in providing necessary information.

Stressing that the Military will not relent in routing the insurgents from the general area. He commended the residents for their short stay at the Bakassi IDPs and support the military quest in clearing the area of insurgents.
