Nigerian army chief Tukur Yusuf Buratai has declared that Boko Haram terrorist have been defeated as they are now caught with mere hands in frontline of northeast.
General Tukur Buratai who was speaking Thursday in Bama Borno state said to sustain the defeat, troops must remain loyal and patriotic to complete the twin operation of lafiya dole and last hold. He said the insurgents cannot dislodge, displace and dislocate any of the soldiers in the frontline of Sambisa forest and Cameroon border areas.
The army chief designated the 21 Armoured Brigade Bama as special operational forces and assured them that all their allowances would be paid and their operational kits provided.
