Nigeria Will Survive Socio-Economic Challenges – President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has again assured Nigerians that the country will survive and thrive in spite of the ongoing socio-economic challenges facing it.

He said the challenges would be faced head-on with renewed determination and urgency required.

He made this known in his New Year Broadcast to the nation in Abuja.

The President maintained that as the elected President and Commander-in-Chief, he has no option than to ensure the safety of lives and properties of all citizens.

He also pledged to continue to listen to viable advices and suggestions on how best to address these challenges for the nation’s progress.

The President, who saluted the courage of the nation’s youths, reiterated the commitment of the Federal Government to secure their future.

He wished to make use of the New Year occasion to reaffirm his commitments to the people of Nigeria, especially the youths who needs his collective encouragement and support.

In securing this nation, he said there is need to secure the future of the youths.

Many of the young people are excelling in various spheres of life including sports, entertainment, information and communication technology, commerce and are globally recognised as achievers.

According to him, this will create vast opportunities in fintech, agriculture, business process start-ups and in the entertainment industry.

The year 2021 will indeed be a year where we will work to reinforce the hopes of fellow Nigerians in the vision of a united and progressive Nigeria.
