Taraba urban WASH Media Network has called on the state government to reintroduce monthly sanitation exercise to keep the environment clean for healthiness of its people.
This was contained in a communique at the end of its quarterly review meeting signed by the chairman of the network, Alhaji Sadiq Adamu and secretary, Mrs. Janet Audu in Jalingo.

The communiqué urged the general public to adhere strictly to COVID -19 guidelines so as to contain the pandemic in the state
It appealed to the media to help in dispelling the myths and misconceptions surrounding COVID 19 pandemic so as to mitigate its effects on the society.
The communique advised the public to always source for information on COVID- 19 and other related diseases from reliable sources to avoid unnecessary panic occasioned by fake news.
It called on the Taraba government to identify and hold some prominent persons accountable for the illegal connection of water from TAWASCO pipelines along Ibi-Wukari road.
The network appealed to relevant stakeholders in the construction industries to liaise with TAWASCO before carrying out projects to avoid destruction of pipe lines, urging individuals and corporate organisations to partner with TAWASCO for extension of water pipelines to more communities in Taraba.
