Taraba state Deputy Governor, Alh. Haruna Manu has enjoined Muslims in the state to pray for an end to communal clashes and other security challenges bedevilling the state.
Dandal Kura repoter gathers that after observing the Eid prayers at the Taraba state University Eid ground, to mark the beginning of Salah celebration, Alh. Haruna called on all the warring sides in the conflict to give peace a chance.
The Deputy Governor said the Salah period is an opportunity for both Muslims and non-Muslims to unite and stop fanning the embers of division and fueling crisis.
