Nigeria has confirmed 745 new cases of COVID19 in the country, this according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
DANDAL KURA RADIO INTERNATIONAL reports that this is the highest figure of the disease recorded in a day since the index case in the country was announced in February.
The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country so far is 18,480 after sample test of 106,006.
Lagos led the states with the new infections with 280, followed by Oyo with 103, Ebonyi with 72, FCT had 60, Imo with 46, Edo 34, Delta 33 and Rivers with 25.
Others are Kaduna had 23, Ondo with 16, Katsina 12, Kano 10, Bauchi 8, Borno 7, Kwara 5, Gombe 4, Sokoto 2, Enugu 2, Yobe 1, Osun 1 and Nasarawa 1.
DANDAL KURA RADIO INTERNATIONAL reports that 6,307 patients have been discharged and 475 deaths recorded.
