
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced this on Saturday on its verified Twitter handle that it has recorded 389 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
It said that the nation presently has total confirmed COVID-19 cases of 12, 233 after sample tests of 74,999.
The centre also said that 22 states including the FCT have fresh cases of the novel disease.
The affected states are: Lagos which has highest news cases of 66 people followed by FCT with 50 people.
Others are Delta-32, Oyo-31, Borno 26, Rivers-24, Edo-23, Ebonyi-23, Anambra-17, Gombe-17, Nasarawa-14, Imo-12, Kano-12, Sokoto-12, Jigawa-8, Ogun-7, Bauchi-5, Kebbi-2, Kaduna-2 Katsina-2, Ondo-2, Abia and Niger 1.
Dandal Kura Radio International reports that 3,826 patients have been treated and discharged as 342 deaths were recorded..
