
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced a total of 321 new COVID-19 infections in the country.
With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total of 52, 548 cases so far.
The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading with 98 cases, while FCT trailed with 34 cases.
Others are Kaduna-30, Nasarawa-25, Benue-21, Plateau-17, Rivers-15, Adamawa-11, Ogun-11, Enugu-9, Edo-8, Delta-7, Ekiti-7, Gombe-5, and Ebonyi-4, Bayelsa, Kano, and Ondo-3, Cross River, Imo, Kebbi, and Niger-2 while Abia and Bauchi States had 1 each.
The release further showed that a total of 39, 257 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1004 deaths so far.
