Nigeria has recorded 403 new cases of COVID19 in the country, this according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The centre stated this in a tweet on Sunday night that the country presently has total confirmed cases 16,085 of the disease after sample test of 92,924.
The tweet said Lagos state was pushed back for the first time since the index case of COVID-19 in Nigeria in the list of states with fresh cases of the disease by Gombe leading with 73 followed by Lagos with 68.
The states affected with the fresh cases of the disease were 20 including the FCT, the 403 new cases are: Gombe-73, Lagos-68, Kano-46, Edo-36, FCT-35, Nasarawa-31, Kaduna-17, Oyo-16, Abia-15, Delta-13, Borno-13, Plateau-8, Niger-7, Rivers-7, Enugu-6, Ogun-6, Kebbi-3, Ondo-1, Anambra-1, Imo-1.
Dandal Kura Radio International reports that 5,220 patients have been discharged with 420 deaths recorded.
