Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development commenced the enrolment process of the third batch of the N-Power programme on 26th June 2020.
Within one week of opening the portal for application, the ministry reported that more than 3 million applications were received.
The ministry said about 400,000 applicants would be absorbed into the third batch of its N-Power National Social Investment Scheme.
The update on the application exercise was contained in a statement on Friday by the Deputy Director of Information of the ministry, Rhoda Iliya.
The ministry also announced the disengagement of independent monitors recruited to monitor Batches A and B of the N-Power programme as well as other National Social Investment Programme as from 31st July, 2020.
