Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has assured passengers plying the Abuja-Kaduna rail line route that more trains would be added soon.
Rotimi Amaechi said this as he was taking delivery of trains in China and the trains built by a Chinese firm CRRC which include two-motored cars and four locomotive trains, noting that the trains would soon be in Nigeria.
Speaking on the distribution of the trains, the minister said that, the trains would service the Abuja-Kaduna and Lagos-Ibadan rail lines.
He said addeed that he heard the cries those complaining that the trains are not enough, especially for the Abuja-Kaduna route.
He also said, the first batch of the new trains built by CRRC will soon soon be in Nigeria and work is ongoing on the second batch of the trains and their plan is to connect and unite the entire country by rail.
