The Subcommittee began monitoring the data capturing exercise at one of the populous Bakassi IDPs camps in the state.
The Mega schools were constructed by the state government to address the education needs of children of the displaced community and vulnerable persons affected by the Boko Haram Insurgency.
Sheikh Tijjani Umara chairs the subcommittee for proper identification of eligible children in all the IDPs.
Speaking after the exercise, the chairman of the committee said, the program was successful considering the fact that they have gone round all the Camps.
Adding that the committee will also focus on the host communities where orphans and vulnerable children will be selected using the data capturing machines.
