Some hoodlums on Saturday in Jos vandalised the warehouses of the National Emergency Management Agency and that of the State Emergency Management Agency and looted foodstuff and other items stored there.
The newsmen who visited the scenes of the incident reports that the hoodlums were seen moving the items and trying to convert them to their personal use.
Mr Tanimola Obasa the Public Relations Officer of the Plateau Command of the NSCDC confirmed the development. Obasa said that the command was doing all within its powers to stop the looting in the state.
He also said that the command will not allow the incident to truncate the relative peace being enjoyed in the state.
He added that the corps will not allow the hoodlums to vandalise and loot properties belonging to private individuals.
