
The newly appointed Special Assistant On protocol and a permanent secretary in the state civil service have been sworn in. The event took place at the council chambers of government house Maiduguri.
Those sworn in are Ahmed sanda as special adviser on protocol to the governor and Dr Muhd Aminu Guluze as permanent secretary in to the state civil service.
The oath of office and that of allegiance was administered to the appointees by Justice Fadawu Umaru who represented the state chief judge Justice Kashim Zanna while governor Babagana Umara Zulum presiding .
Speaking at the event governor babagana umara zulum said Ahmed sanda was appointed as Special Assistant due to honesty and dedication and above all his meritorious service and described him as a person proven integrity.
The governor also said that with appointment of Ahmed Sanda as Special Assistant on protocol he is in charge of the protocol unit and coordinate all protocol affairs.
On the appointment of Dr Muhd Aminu Guluze as permanent secretary the Governor described him as a qualified medical doctor and one among doctors that
are not operating private hospital and even if any is like a charitable organization and his appointment as permanent secretary is based on merit and hard-working.
