Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has condoled the family of slain police inspector,while repelling Boko Haram attack on Babbangida community.
Two other policemen, also sustained injuries in the successful repulsion of terrorist.
Babbangida community, 50 kilometres north of Damaturu, the state capital, was severally attacked by insurgents, including the monarch’s palace in 2016.
On Tuesday while Presenting the cheques in Damaturu, Director of Cabinet and Security, Yakubu Damagum disclosed that Police Mobile Force Inspector; paid the supreme price of protecting Babbangida township from terrorists over running and control of the entire community.
Damagum said, Governor Buni has sustained the policy of boosting high morale of all security agencies in the state. He said the family of the slain inspector, has been assisted with N1 million, while the two injured were given N500, 000 each.
