Nigeria: FRSC Collaborates With NARTO To Prevent The Spread Of Coronavirus In Adamawa

The Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC Adamawa State command will ensure drivers adhere to COVID-nineteen protocols following the ease of the interstate movement by the Federal Government.

According to Press Release signed by the Public Enlightment Officer of the command Deputy Route Commader Aliyu. S Terrang who made this known during a meeting the Sector commander FRSC Adamawa Command, Corps Commander Ocheja I Ameh fsi held with leadership of National Association of Road Transport Owners NARTO, Adamawa state chapter.

The Sector commander Adamawa, Corps Commander Ocheja I Ameh fsi stated that FRSC operatives in the State are ready to check mate any breach of measures against the spread of COVID-nineteen by road users.

He explained that lack of observing the laid down rules such as use of face mark by drivers and passengers, observing physical social distancing, reducing of passenger capacity by fifty percent, washing of hands with running water at various motor parks as well as the application of hands Sanitizer is disastrous.

In his response, the state Chairman of the Association Alhaji Auwalu Mohammed pledged the support of the Associations members in adhering to guidelines towards preventing the spread of the novel Corona virus through road transportation system in the State.
