Federal Government of Nigeria has continued to evacuate Nigerian citizens from various countries around the world.
Aircraft was dispatched to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea as part of the evacuation exercise which was coordinated by the Embassy of Nigeria in Malabo.
Before departure, the passengers were briefed by the Minister from the Embassy of Nigeria in Malabo, Mr Abubakar Salihu, representing the Ambassador, Toko Ali Gongulong.
Also in attendance to witness the departure was the Defence Attache, Navy Captain Oluseyi Oladipo and other officials of the Embassy.
The passengers were advised to adhere to all COVID19 protocols while onboard the aircraft and on arrival in Lagos.
The Air Peace aircraft conveying a total of 38 passengers departed Malabo at 9:10pm and safely arrived Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos at 10:22 pm.
The exercise demonstrated strong synergy between the Nigerian Government, represented by the Embassy, and the indigenous carrier, Air Peace.
