In spite of the lingering crisis over alleged under remittance of revenue to the federation account by the NNPC N66.898 billion naira has been shared by the three tiers of government in Nigeria as revenue for May, 2018.
The federation accounts allocation committee meetings has been deadlocked over alleged under remittance. Nigeria’s finance ministry indicated through a statement that the crisis has been resolved and the funds shared to mitigate the hardship being experienced by workers.
The ministry said further steps would be taken to solve the problem of under remittance ones and for all.
