Nigeria: BSPHDA And SOML Organizes Lecture On Antenatal And Child Spacing In Borno

The pregnant women are urged to attend antenatal clinics and advised mothers on importance of child spacing have again been stressed.

Borno state Primary Healthcare Development Agency, gave the advice during a meeting with Save One Million Lives Programme at the Agency’s conference Hall along Damboa road Maiduguri.

Emphasized the need to improve healthcare services for women and children adding that giving such women and children the opportunity will no doubt bring meaning development to their lives.

Also speaking, the Programme Manager Save One Million Lives, Mallam Laminu said the objective of the programme is to increase the utilization and high quality impact reproductive child health and nutrition interventions adding that the programme will not be successful without the support of religious and traditional leaders.

In their separate contribution, Sheikh Modu Mustapha, Dr. Murtala Abdulfathi and Reverend Emmanuel Balami advised parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children and promised to enlighten their followers on the maternal and healthcare services.
