Borno State Government has commenced of a new hospital, shopping complex and portable water facilities in Ajiri community resettled last month in Mafa Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Babagana Zulum, gave the directives during a one-day working visit to Dikwa and Mafa LGAs.
Over 500 households have returned to Ajiri community on August 15, 2020, with each given a low-cost 2 bedroom flat and N50, 000 emergency relief fund.
Zulum’s visit was to assess farmlands established for returning farming communities for restoration of livelihoods to build public confidence and community resilience.
He said he is happy to see people living comfortably after their relocation from IDPs Camps to their ancestral homes.
He also said his government will do everything possible to support them and they will provide Ajiri community with a befitting school, hospital and market stalls among other social infrastructures.
He appeals to all of them to continue to pray for the restoration of peace and also cooperate with security agencies in the fight against terrorism.
