Nigeria: Borno Residents To Adopts Use Of Waste Bin In Public And Private Places

Resident of Maiduguri the state capital of Borno in Northeast Nigeria to adopts the use of waste bin in both public and private places to ensure filth free environment.

The Commander, National Environment Enforcement Agency Mr. Charles Joshua gave the advice while on an official visit to the state.

He said considering the important role environment play in ensuring healthy living, adopting the use of waste bin in both public and private places would help ensure clean environment.

He also advised BOSEPA to strictly monitor conduct of food, water related products, and prosecute defaulters at the environment court.

In an interview with Dandal Kura International Malam Mustapha of Gwange, Custom area urged the Government to provide them with containers for proper waste disposal to keep the environment clean
