Nigeria Air Force Reiterates Commitment To End Banditry

The Nigeria Air force says it would do all it takes to ensure that peace reign in Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Air Officer Commanding Special Operation Command of the Nigeria Air force Air vice Marshal Tajuddeen Yusuf stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Katsina State Governor Alhaji Aminu Masari at Government House Katsina.

He assured that the Nigeria Air force was very mindful of the security situation in the country and Katsina State and would do it best to achieve the desired success in the war against banditry and insurgency.

According to him, although insurgency takes a lot of time to be able to eradicate but in recent time remarkable progress is being recorded in the war and the Nigeria Air force would continue to do it best in that regard.

Air vice Marshal Tajuddeen thanked Governor Masari for the support and cooperation he has been rendering to the Nigeria Air force in the on going fight against banditry.

Responding, Governor Masari appreciated the visit and assured continues support to the Nigeria Air force in the fight against the menace of banditry affecting Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto and some parts of Kaduna and Niger States.

Governor Masari enjoined the Nigeria Air force to synergize with their Army counterparts to achieve the desired success.

He equally urged them to use technological means to checkmate these bandits once and for all.
