Adamawa state government in collaboration with a Federal Government Housing Financing Agency and Family Homes Fund will provide two thousand housing units for civil servants.
The project will gulp eight billion naira and provide direct and indirect jobs to about thirty thousand youths and offer training to about two hundred youths in construction skills.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the project will provide decent houses to two thousand civil servants across the state and charged the Family Homes fund to keep to the time frame of the project.
He lamented that no housing project was carried out in the state in the last five years and reiterated that his administration will continue to remain resolute and committed in serving the people.
He says that one thousand four hundred houses will be built in the state capital while three hundred will be erected in Mubi and other local governments.
The Managing Director of the Family Homes Fund Mr Femi Adewole said the project will be completed within twelve months.
