The Borno youth Conference with stakeholders in support of actionaid has held its First interactive session at El-kanemi hall, university of Maiduguri, Borno state.
The event was tagged Building back better” with the aim to discuss ways of empowering youths whose means of livelihood have been destroyed by 12 years of insurgency in the state.
The coordinator of Borno youth forum, Mubarak Yusuf revealed that they carefully selected youth from all over state to reflect and determine the future of the state.
Yusuf also said that in view of the 25 years development Plan the youths will also participate in terms of promoting content to the plan. Urging the youth to meaningfully participate in the electoral processes.
Yusuf also encourage the youths to create forums to look inward at youth issues and how they can support themselves.
The event was witness by Barr. Fatima shehu Imam, Zanna Dujima of Borno Alh Yusuf Mandara, zanna samnoma of BornoDr. Zanna liman and representative of Various Non-government Organisations among others.
