NAF Fighter Jet Bombs ISWAP Hideout At Magari in Northern Borno

The Nigerian Air Task force of operation Lafiya Dole has significantly degraded an Islamic State of west Africa province ISWAP terrorists’ hideout and neutralized some of its leaders and fighters at Magari on the borders of Lake Chad in northern part of Borno state, North-East Nigeria.

This was accomplished in an Air interdiction mission conducted, following credible intelligence report indicating that some senior ISWAP leader arrived the settlement on Friday 30 April 2019 along with some of their fighters.

Intelligence surveillance and Reconnaissance ISR Flag observed near to compounds in settlement leaders indicting the presence of high-level leaders of the sect.

Accordingly two Nigerians Air Force NAF Alpha jet aircraft, support by an ISP platform, were dispatched to attack identified compounds within the settlement.
