More than 2 billion people needs portable water as United Nations Celabrates World Water Day 2021.
The resolution to observe World Water Day was first adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 22, 1992, after which March 22 was declared as World Water Day and is celebrated around the world since 1993.

The theme of World Water Day 2021 is “Valuing Water” and has been chosen to highlight the value of water in our daily lives.

World Water Day is observed annually across the globe on March 22 with the purpose of highlighting the importance of water and raising awareness about the water crisis that the world faces.

According to the United Nations, the main focus of the day is to “support the achievement of sustainable development goal sixth which says water and sanitation for all by 2030.
