Residents of Maiduguri Metropolis came out en masse as Peoples Democratic Party PDP Flagged off Campaign activities yesterday 15th October, 2022 in Borno State.
The flag off was followed by a Campaign rally that Kicked off around Shehus Palace and goes round the Metropolis.
During the Campaign rally, PDP Member House of Representatives Candidate MMC Bakura Abba Yusuf appreciated the people of the state for their turn out.
If elected, Abba Yusuf pledged to support the Victims of Insurgency, Provide employment as well as empower youths and women by engaging them in meaningful Ventures for self sustenance.
In his Campaign Promises, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidates Ali Muhammad Jajari revealed that his manifestations will be anchored around human and social development, boosting Private sector-led businesses, resettlement and implementing a growth Plan for the State.
The PDP Gubernatorial candidate further pledged to regress the different taxation models that were introduced at the detriment of the masses.
He also pledged to address the under payment of pensioners and teachers salaries as well as Upgrade civil Servants Welfare in Borno State civil service.
PDP Stakeholders in attendance are: PDP Chairman Borno State Zanna Gaddama Mustapha, PDP senatorial Candidate Northern Borno Lawan Isa kangar amongst others.
