The residents of Maiduguri Metropolis and its environs experienced power outage for the past three weeks.
Our reporter confirmed that the frantic efforts has been made to restore the power.
The level of destruction to the power facility is beyond comprehension and authorities are working round the clock to normalise the situation.
It has also been confirmed that the date to fix the destroyed electric poles and cables remained uncertain.
Many business have been badly affected as a result of the blackout.
Babakura Maina Gana a barbershop operator in Ruwan Zafi area Maiduguri told Dandal Kura Radio that power outage affected his barbing business.
On her part Abigail Yunana said she had to shut down her salon due to inability to acquire the o small generator that will help her to continue running her business to take care of her family and pay their school fees.
