Konduga Dialogue Steering Committee in partnership with Concern for women and children development foundation (COWACDI) Organised a peace accord signing at Amada International hotel, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The peace signing accord is aimed at resolving conflict over waste disposal among members and traditional leaders of Ngomari Pompomari Community.
COWACDI is an Organization that promotes Peace by means of identifying and understanding conflicts and bringing an ultimate Solutions to ensure and protect peace in respective communities to cushion the needs of women and children.
While signing the Peace Accord, A community Leader, Bulama Bukar expressed his joy towards the new found peace in the respective communities.
The other factions community leader, Abdulhamid Alh. Mammam commended the efforts of COWACDI for their reconcialliary efforts of resolving the waste disposal dispute in their respective communities.
He further appreciates the efforts of Borno sanitation and environmental Protection agency (BOSEPA) for their cooperation towards this peace effort.
In his address, A facilitator Dauda Balami emphasized COWACDI’s commitment in promoting Peace. Explaining that Peace is important to every nations development.
He further commended the Community leaders of Ngomari Pompommari for their dedication and cooperation towards achieving Peace in their respective communities.
