Kidnapped Students Of Islamiyya School Regains Freedom In Katsina

The kidnapped students of Islamiyya school in Mahuta town of Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State have regained freedom.

The students, numbering 100 were reported to have been rescued by the local vigilante group in the area.

It was gathered that the rescue team engaged in fight with the bandits around 3a.m and chased them away.

This fresh attack comes few days after gunmen broke into Kankara Science Secondary School in Katsina and abducted 344 students.

According to Katsina Post, the Islamiyya students were abducted on their way home from maulud procession at Anguwar Al-Kasim a nearby village in Mahuta town.
