The Embassy of Israel in Nigeria has donated an e-learning centre to boost virtual teaching and learning for children in Nigeria.
The Ambassador of Israel to Nigeria Shimon Ben-Shoshan who inaugurated the centre on Tuesday in Abuja, donated it to MALLPAI Foundation.
The Israeli Ambassador said that the donation, in collaboration with Skill G Nigeria Ltd., a private sector organisation is to commemorate 60years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Nigeria.
According to him, Israel is a start-up nation that is renowned for its vibrant ecosystem of innovation and will gladly collaborate with Nigeria on knowledge sharing to assist students to imbibe e-learning.
The centre project shows the level of cooperation between the two countries and it consisted the following fields, agriculture, food technology, renewable energy, management and medical devices/simulation.
In her remarks at the event, Mrs Aisha Atiku Bagudu, wife of Kebbi State Governor expressed appreciation to Israel and Skill G for their educational support to children.
