The Federal High Court, sitting in Maiduguri had on 9th day of January, 2023 made a landmark ruling in favour of Honourable Jibrin Mustapha Tatabe, declaring him as the authentic candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Borno Central Senatorial District in the upcoming general elections in February, 2023.
In a press release made available to Journalist by his Technical and Personal Assistant Aminu Yakudima, explained.
The ruling, which was given by Justice Jude K. Dagat, bring to an end a long-standing dispute within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the candidacy for the Senatorial seat.
Jibrin Mustapha Tatabe,who had suffered what the statement describe as a great deal of injustice over his nomination in the PDP, has expressed his delight at the court’s ruling.
He assured that if elected, will work tirelessly to bring about the much needed change and development to their door steps in the whole district.
