
A non governmental organization, Women Initiative for Family Economy (WIFE) has urged Nigerian women to engage themselves into small scale businesses in order to become self reliant.
The organization’s coordinator representative Hajiya Karina Shu’aibu Sarkin Ruwa made the called at a closing ceremony of a three day training for women on different skills in Kano.
She also advised women to shun envy amongst them, and dedicate their time in learning new skills that will improve their living standard.
She said, the organization decided to train the women in business skills so as to train others on a train the trainer program, with the whole purpose of improving their condition in the society.
She reiterated the organization’s commitment for the promotion of women interests, and assisting them towards boosting their families economy.
