Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has charged eligible voters of Kukawa extraction to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The Governor gave the charge while addressing large gatherings of the residents of the area who trooped in and witnessed the APC campaign rally in Baga town and cross kauwa.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent Chiroma Ali Ibrahim reports that the Governor was accompanied to the rally by the former Borno State Governor Senator Maina Ma’aji Lawan among other political bigwigs from the area.
Prof Babagana Umara Zulum recalled the challenges he encountered while trying to reopen cross kauwa, Baga town and Doro and assured the residents that government will continue to provide them with the means of livelihood until full normalcy is restored to the communities.
Prof zulum assured that fishing business would be fully revived, the road leading to the fish dam would be constructed, solar street lights would be installed, electrification of the area would be carried out and pumping machine would be provided to farmers as well as youths and women empowerment would be given top most priority.
The APC state chairman Hon Ali Bukar Dalori was full of appreciation to people of Baga, cross kauwa and Doro for giving the campaign train of APC a rousing welcome which according to him was an indication that the party is fully on ground and accepted by the people.
