Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum Presented s2022 Appropriation Bill To Borno Sate house of Assembly today Tuesday November 30th 2021.
He said the 2022 budget of “HOPE FOR POST-CONFLICT STABILITY”, aims at accelerating ongoing reconstruction of destroyed communities for safe and dignified resettlements, provision of livelihoods and social support to citizens, and ensuring the completion of ongoing projects.
The governor propose 2022 budget at the sum of N267,921,484,000.00 for the 2022 fiscal year.
The capital expenditure is N172,535,634,000.00 and the recurrent expenditure is N95,385,850,000.00.
The budget will be financed from Recurrent Revenue of N113,839,901,000 which will comprise FAAC Revenue of N48,215,985,000, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of N34,534,704,000, Value Added Tax of N20, 716, 973,000, and other Federation Account sources of N10,372,239,000.
The Ministry with highest share is Borno State Security Trust Fund with the sum of N3,297,000,000.00.
